Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with various departments to support line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;
  • Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and others HR related policies;
  • Support line manager in developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures;
  • Support line manager in developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;
  • Recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;
  • Negotiating with staff and their representatives on issues relating to policy, procedure and conditions;
  • Planning and sometimes delivering training, including new staff inductions;
  • Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers;
  • Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization;
  • Assist in payroll calculation such as: overtime, travel allowance and others payroll related if needed.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration or similar field;
  • At least 5 year experience of similar function;
  • Male or female, age between 30-40 years old;
  • Good working knowledge on procedures, system and best practices in HR;
  • Influencing and negotiating skills to implement personnel policies;
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and ability to cope with stress high demand of customers;
  • Potential to handle a leadership role;
  • Computer literacy especially Excel, Word and Power Point;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to be flexible in demanding situations;
  • Ability to work under pressure and working long hours if needed;
  • Good common of speaking and writing both Lao and English;
  • Good time management, planning and organizing skills.
